Inspired by the Little Yarra River that flows nearby, this former deer farm was planted to 3 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in 2009. Purchased by us at the start of 2013, we immediately set about acquainting this young vineyard with herbicide-free viticulture and a whole lot of hand-tending in order to let each vine focus less on producing fruit, and more on becoming part of the landscape.
Our goal is produce wines that are delicious and varietal, but also interesting and true to our little site in the Upper Yarra Valley.
